Washington report says FBI Director J Edgar Hoover announced the arrest of George A Gormley an ex convict and Louis V Dionne WAIA expediter on fraud charges. They allegedly devised a scheme to obtain textiles by forging documents during a December 8 1946 Alexandria Virginia WAA sale. Hoov er said textiles worth 144000 were recovered from a New York storage firm. Dionne allegedly increased yardage figures and received 7000 for aiding the scheme.
