Washington January 10 Brigadier General Edward Martin and officers of the 110th Pennsylvania Infantry have laid plans for the semi centennial celebration of the regiment. Centennial arrangements were finalized at a recent meeting. General John L Pershing and General Charles Muir, under whom the unit fought overseas, have been invited to attend. The event will occur in late spring or early summer. The 110th, nicknamed the Fighting Tenth, served in the Philippines during the Spanish American War under Col A L Hawkins, who died on a transport home.

Séth Infantry Brigade and 103rd Medical Detachment will train at Mt Gretna from July 12 to 36. 55th Infantry Brigade and 103rd Medical Detachment at Mt Gretna July 12 to 26. Engineers at Mount Gretna July 26 to August 9. Cavalry Brigade and Mounted Engineers at Mt Gretna July 19 to August 2. 108th and 109th Field Artillery at Tobyhanna July 26 to August 9.
