Three People Hospitalized In Area Traffic Accidents
Four persons were injured yesterday in traffic crashes in the Homer City and Punxsutawney region. In Indiana County three victims Michael Russell William Chappell and Walter Novak were treated at Indiana Area Hospital after a Route 422 two car collision with John W Hull. Novak fractured a leg and others suffered abrasions. Damages were about 2500. A second accident on Route 368 near Smicksburg injured Adeline Harmon in a collision with a car driven by Dwayne Marshall. Harmon released after treatment. damages about 2500. In Punxsutawney a 7:30 am crash on Ridge Ave left no injuries. Other minor two car crashes in Indiana and Homer City areas produced damage about 450 and 2300 respectively. One driver escaped injury after a Route 422 icy skid.
