George Davies of Ferrier's Run formerly of Punxsutawney died at his stepson J Gorman's home on Wednesday at 10:25 AM aged 81 years 6 months 9 days. He leaves a widow two sisters Hannah Davis and Isaiah Davis of Punxsutawney and brother with several stepchildren including J B Gorman Mine Foreman at Ferrier's Run John J Gorman of Mation Center Mrs William Flinn and A P Gorman. Funeral held at Big Run Saturday at 10 o'clock at Mrs William Flinn's home and interment in Bowersville cemetery.
