Socialists Ready To End Strike In Belgium

In Brussels and Antwerp, noisy protests occurred as officials said the 17 day strike against austerity is dying. Public Administration Minister Pierre Hamel affirmed a return to work everywhere. Leo Collard, Socialist president, appealed to King Baudouin amid efforts to move the party from the nationwide stoppage.
