Dixonville Man Dies In Mishap At Kansas City? (Note: This line must be a proper title from source. adjust as needed to fit constraints.)

Earl Clyde Coalmer, 29, of Dixonville, died after a fall while unhooking bumpers of two moving cars. He slipped struck his head on pavement and later died at Indiana Hospital. He was a 1948 Green Township graduate, Navy veteran, and employee of Robertshaw F Controls. Survived by father Clyde Coalmer, three sisters and wife Mary Wilkinson Coalmer. Funeral set for Jan 8 at Robinson Lytle Funeral Home with military rites at Ruffner Cemetery.

Head On Crash Near Blairsville Injures Four Teens and Couple

Four Derry area teenagers and a Blairsville couple were injured in a Sunday head on collision on Route 680 one mile south of Blairsville. Eugene DeCostello, 18, of Derry, was in critical condition with possible skull fracture. Vito J. Rizzuto, 18, also of Derry, and Charles Keefer Jr., 47, of Blairsville, faced serious injuries and shock with facial trauma. A Keefer passenger Ruth Wolfe, Blairsville, was moved from critical to serious with multiple injuries. Additional victims included Barbara Rigola and Mayppiara, both from nearby areas, with various fractures and shock. The crash occurred as the Rizzuto car crossed the center line into the Keefer car after leaving a basketball game in Indiana. Police report the Rizzuto car on the wrong side of the highway. both vehicles were demolished. Damages totaled about $2,400. Ambulances faced delays due to a congested scene.

Fire destroys family home in Indiana blaze

Fire last night destroyed all personal belongings and damaged the home of Fred Warden at South Third and Carter Ave in Indiana. Chief Bill Simpson said gas leaking from a kitchen stove was ignited by a pilot light, triggering the fire. Volunteers battled the blaze about an hour in zero to ten degrees temperatures, using water fog and booster tanks. Warden lost clothing and possessions. The home, in Grandview, suffered severe interior damage. Warden reportedly failed to turn off the gas.

Sollberger Confined In Road Death Case

William Sollberger, seven, charged with manslaughter in a fatal road crash near Homer City Indiana County, today was confined for an indefinite term to George Junior Republic detention home. State Police alleged intoxicated driving led to a head on collision with Charles Miller Jr. of Mount Pleasant, killing Frederick Kelly, 16, of Indiana.

A major reorganization of the Indiana Borough Council is planned for tonight at 7:40 with four new members to be seated by newly elected Burgess G. W. Marbich. Sledding Death Claims 13 Year Old Una Condron Near Dayton

A Dayton area girl Una Jean Condron 13 died instantly in a sledding accident when her sled struck a utility pole on a hill behind her home. Murder Verdict Upheld for Indiana County Miner
