Milwaukee reports a nonunion Cook Samuel Moore narrowly escaped lynching at Twin Lakes Wisconsin after a mob of union ice men beat him and planned his execution. A local woman with a shotgun intervened preventing the mob from completing the act amid scenes of panic and violence.
A prisoner identified as Roy Edwards of Wis Vile appeared in police court charged as a fugitive from justice and for embezzlement at a post office substation. The judge ordered acquittal on a declarhanes claim as Edwards pressed that he wanted to stand trial.
The marriage of Barney Kline Frank to Rae Cel dstone was interrupted by a spectacle involving a person claiming to be Mrs Ethel Palmer Kline and attempting to stay in Des Moines. Police were alerted as authorities pursued the interrupter and attempted to restore order at the ceremony.
Northw est faces terrible famine as a blizzard sweeps across the region for 86 hours. Interior reports tell of dead and injured, snows cripple railroads, coal and provisions scarce in Iowa and Dakota towns. Cattle and feed shortages stretch across the western ranges to Nebraska and Canada.

A three story frame house in Carbondale township near Scranton collapsed fifty feet into a mine, injuring Mrs Catherine Horan aged eighty five who was dug from the wreck by nearby colliery workers. Surface ground sloughed away around the site with third party damage reported. Explosion near Cairo caused destruction of windows and floors and killed Nubely.

The Wizard of Wiseland features an all star cast from major companies led by Charles Pusey and Walter Coupe with Alice Clark and Helen Gould in key roles. Isle of Spice promises renewed popularity with new scenery costumes and numbers led by Pusey Coupe Clark Gould Collins and a cast of operatic entertainers.
