Pittsburgh Jan 5 The executive offices of the Presbyterian synod of Pennsylvania will relocate to Harrisburg after a successor for Dr C G Hays is named due to his ill health The move aims to centralize the synod with its committees and council offices in the state capital and a new executive from Illinois synod has been invited to meet Pittsburgh clergymen before a decision. The synod budget for next year is set at 12 million with Pennsylvania quota 2 752 533 and retirement rules for the synod were assigned to four officials.

Cambridge Massachusetts January 5 Forty five girl students at Sargent School were roused and hurried to the street when a fire destroyed an unoccupied wooden dwelling owned by Harvard University across Darvis Street from the Sargent School dormitory. Damage was estimated at twenty five thousand dollars.
