C H S Alumni Hold Meeting and Community Progress
Clymer High School alumni held a reunion with a banquet and dancing at the K of P Hall marking an annual affair. James Rogers visited from Johnstown, and William Harner moved to Ernest for Jefferson and Indiana Coal Company. John Warden suffered head lacerations from a fall last week. The L O O M degree team attended Nant-y-Glo events initiating candidates. Mrs Joe Paydovk hosted a farewell party with music and games. The New Year 1927 was welcomed by watch services, house parties, and dancing activities at the K of P Hall.

The Union National Bank of Clymer announces Donald Strong, long-time local resident and former high school instructor, as cashier effective January first. Strong succeeds Frank Tate, who retires to join an insurance career after years of service. Tate transferred to the Union Bank in the Houck Block at its opening. New Levy Reduced to Five Mills from Six
County voters previously approved a road bond issue. Each million in bonds requires one mill for interest and retirement. The cut targets the general fund, affecting all other county activities and shifting the levy.
Butter Production Dips in 1926 Survey Says
A Sears Roebuck Agricultural Foundation survey shows total butter production in 1926 at 1.925 billion pounds, down from 1.952 billion in 1925. Creamery butter fell to 1.345 billion pounds from 1.361 billion. prices peaked late 1926 near 54.5 cents per pound, with varied monthly levels.
