Heart Attack Fatal to Bishop Dunlap
John F. Dunlap 75 retired Bishop of the Evangelical Church and former Albright College president died from a heart attack yesterday two hours after onset. He retired in 1934 after 53 years in ministry including 12 as bishop of the Pittsburgh conference. He led Albright College from 1909 to 1916 and also served as superintendent of Williamsport Lancaster and York districts. Funeral services set for St Pauls Evangelical Church in Williamsport.

Invading aircraft ranged within a mile of Dublin for five hours killing at least three people. Fire bombs fell, one identified as German origin. Irish Department of Defense said a fire bomb near the Currah of Kildare bore German marks. The area is a flat tract near central County Kildare.

Oxygen Fire Burns Infant at City Hospital
A two pound premature baby fed oxygen in an incubator at City Hospital Louisville died when oxygen ignited. Deputy Coroner M Rodger Dougherty ruled the death accidental after hospital superintendent John B Buschmeyer testified a spark of undetermined origin started the fire. The baby was born December 19 and placed in the incubator January 1.

Tragic Healy Family Suffocated in Baltimore Fire
In Baltimore on January 2 a 32 year old man John A Healy and his two young children Kathisen 3 and Mary Elizabath suffocated in a morning fire. Healy’s wife 31 was rescued by her brother John Ellwood a firefighter who broke his ankle leaping from a second story window. Ellwood also aided Healy’s wife suffering possible ankle fracture and both sustained burns. Firemen recovered the bodies of Healy and the two children.
