Wilkinson's body found in Marsh Run near Parkwood
A 65 year old man identified as Robert Wilkinson was recovered from Marsh Run near the old Haus-Wurst homestead along the B R and P Railway at 11 80 this morning. Coroner St Clair and Undertaker Streams attended. Death cause undetermined. evidence suggests possible suicide by poison from a bottle near the scene. Wilkinson had appeared at the sheriff's office earlier seeking to see his son in jail. Survivors beyond the son are not known. Funeral arrangements pending.

Death Claims Frank Mentch in Cherryhill Township
Frank Lincoln Mentch 72, prominent Cherryhill farmer, died in Indiana hospital from complications after several weeks illness. Born Sept 28, 1860 in Cherryhill, he spent his life there and was known for honesty and aid to neighbors. He attended Evangelical church at Penn Run and was active in religious affairs. He married twice, first to Emma Beth MacBeth who died in 1900. in 1905 he married Elizabeth Mentch. Surviving are six children, two wives, % grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral at his Cherryhill home Sunday at 2 PM.

Save 45 Japs From Steamer Tamaho Maru Sinking
Forty five Japanese sailors were rescued from the distressed freighter Tamaho Maru south of the Pribilof Islands by the Reiyo Maru. The Tamaho's hull was breached in a storm and the ship was left to founder as rescue vessels stood by including the Haku ban Maru and Faskuha Maru. The Tamaho had earlier reported steering gear damage off the Aleutians. The rescued crew were taken aboard the Reiyo Maru and the Tamaho was abandoned near Yokohama.
