People and guests visit towns this week

GB Lydick and son Bruce of Mytin were here this week. Miss Pearl Stewart of Homer City united friends in Indians today. Edna McFarland attended the Haatitote at Kinghorn's school house. Belle Dickie visited her brother Dr. Clark Dickie of Wandergrift. Hon J N Langham, candidate for Congress, spent days in Kittanning. Edgar Shaffer of Pittsburg visited his father Irvin Shaffer of Railroad Avenue. Mrs. William Calhoun attended the funeral of her aunt Miss Sera Weir in Blairsville. Mr. and Mrs. G T Hamilton attended the funeral of T. Van Mercer in Saltsburg Wednesday. Blanche and Lottie Hawkins of Indiana spent several days here. Mrs. James M. Knapp and children of Kittanning arrived for a short visit with Knapp who operates the Hnotyps machine at the Democrat office. Adam F. Bowman, Democratic candidate for county commissioner, spent part of the week campaigning in the southern part of the county. Golling Graham and his children of Pittsburg are guests of his father W H Q Graham of South Sixth. Ian E. Reid of Spokane, Wash., visiting relatives in Marshalling for the past. W. Edgar Young of South Sixth Street and Mr. and Mrs. A C of Homer City attended the birth of a child of Mr. and Mrs. Hub Wiley of Blairsville on Friday.
