Deputy H. W. Spencer and others testified to the hazardous highway conditions and the coroner's jury had ordered held charges.

The Very Reverend Neil Patrick McNelis pastor of St Bernard's in Indiana died February 8 1933 after a long illness. Born 1858 in Glenties Ireland he came to America in 1869 and pursued studies at St Francis College and St Vincent College. Ordained 1898 he served Verona Mt Pleasant and St Bernard's with selfless poverty charity and devotion. He influenced many districts as a missionary and was dean of his district.
