Bell Tower Pillar Slippage Affects Court House Clock

The pillar supports the tower top on the southwest corner and may have impacted the town clock, which has stopped several times recently. Repairs will be made when weather allows to reset the pillar.

Thirty three motorists were arrested last month for failing to stop at through traffic stop signs at street intersections. Chief George Anderson announced the January police report.
