Indiana Community Chest Red Cross Campaign Reaches Goal

Chairman Joseph McMahon announced the United Community Chest Red Cross drive in Indiana surpassed its $74,850 goal with a total of $74,915.42. Credit went to James Cober Larry Vaughn and a long list of fund division heads plus labor leaders George Crock and Frank Vejlerie for payroll-deduction gains. The campaign began in October and spanned three weeks but took three months to meet the target, aiming to include more agencies next year to cut multiple campaigns and costs.

Defense request stirs House hearing on missile funds

Man Admits Five More Bank Robberies in Pennsylvania
