Frank Mitchell of this place expects to spend Christmas with Altoona friends. A four-horse party of merry-makers from Homer City passed through last night to and from Ernest. Buel Whitehill stenographer of the Court went to Brookville to spend Christmas. Mr and Mrs Thomas Sutton and Dr D J Waller attended a Greensburg banquet of the Normal School alumni of Westmoreland county. Miss Helen Elkin, from school in West Philadelphia, returned home to spend the holidays with her parents Mr and Mrs John P Elkin.
