Samuel Thomas King a longtime Clymer resident and Civil War veteran died December 20 at his daughter’s home in Clymer. He served in the Union Army’s Sir Pennsylvanian Volunteers was captured in 1864 and held at Andersonville nine months. He was 84. Survived by his children Dorsey King Mrs. R. B. Jaup and M. L. King with his wife Mary predeceasing him by ten weeks. Continues on Page Two.

The Rev Dr Morris Wats Prince 87 retired Methodist minister and father of State Senator Leo Prince died at his Carlisle home. He joined Dickinson College faculty in 1888, became professor of history and political science in 1911, and was succeeded by Senator Prince who remains head of that department. He leaves a widow and one daughter, married to Dean Swift of the Hill School.
