Will Launch Tide of Toys Drive in Indiana County
The American Legion posts in Indiana County and nationwide start the second annual Tide of Toys drive on December 26 to collect toys for underprivileged children overseas. Ten posts in the county have placed large boxes in post homes for deposits, with shipments to Philadelphia before January 7, 1951, as part of European-bound relief. Indiana County 40 and 5 of the Legion will use the 40 and 8 Local motive to pick up toys countywide.
