Pittsburgh December 20 Judge Thomas J Ford in Common Pleas Court refused to reopen Coulter E Glenns suit against J G Trees M L Benedum and H B Grayson over the 76 000 000 Texas and Louisiana property deal Glenn sought reconsideration claiming new information about A C Bedford Standard Oil president obtaining 114 000 acres of oil lands and that the defendants sold the property as the J C Trees Oil Company while keeping 1 850 000 for themselves. The case began with an accounting request for the 1910 1919 deal after the lower court dismissed the petition and the supreme court later reversed.

Clarion County native Lieut. Harry A. Dinger, pilot of the plane that crashed in Washington this morning, is identified as from Mayport Clarion county. He lived there until moving to California to join the air service 15 years ago and had visited Mayport recently.

Blizzard Strands Hundreds in Illinois and Midwestern States

Chicago reports cases of stranded residents as rescue teams fail to break through drifts. Musical Treat at Ritz Theatre Delights Patrons

Patrons enjoyed a musical program at the Ritz Theatre with organist Hal Beech performing on the Ita wonder organ and Paul Wells accompanying. The feature film Footlights and Pools starring Colleen Moore, presented with Vitaphone, drew strong applause and the show repeats tonight and tomorrow night with the screen program.

One Hundred Thirty Couples At Square Dance

One hundred and thirty couples attended the square dance sponsored by Company F N C P in the Armory last night. 12 to 14 sets formed each dance with lively music by Joe Stadtmiller and his string band. John Warner called the figures in his usual pleasing style. Christmas Eve dance by Company F will feature a famous orchestra. Christmas Night the usual weekly square dance will be held.

Three men are held by Wilmerding police today in connection with last night’s jail delivery in the suburban town. Two armed bandits locked Police Chief J B Maguire in a cell and freed Steve Mocham of Patterson.
