Indiana County Ranks Tenth in Hunter License Totals

Indiana county stands tenth among 67 counties for hunter licenses issued, with 4,800 licenses—county treasurer J. W. Wilson notes totals. State records show 242,826 licenses issued by 66 counties, yielding $218,002. Clinton County has not reported. overall totals may rise to about 325,000 with more counties reporting. Allegheny leads with 10,369 licenses, Luzerne 10,000, Lancaster 9,781, Schuylkill 9,188, Philadelphia 9,060, followed by Westmoreland, Cambria, Berks, York, Indiana, Fayette, Montgomery, Blair, and Lycoming.
