Two men were sentenced Monday in the Indiana County Courthouse by Judge Robert C. Earley. David George Johnson, 26, of Shelocta RD 1, was sentenced to six to twelve months in the Indiana County Jail, fined $1, ordered to pay the cost of prosecution and make restitution, after he pled guilty to aggravated assault concerning an incident in Indiana Borough July 12. A Glen Campbell RD 1 man, James Alfred Palmerino, 36, was sentenced to two years probation, fined $100, ordered to pay the cost of prosecution and make restitution after he pled guilty to theft and receiving. Anthony Smith, Pittsburgh, pled guilty to retail theft and was fined $100 and sentenced to six to twelve months in the Indiana County Jail. Two other charges of criminal theft and receiving stolen property, one count of liability for the conduct of another, and one count of criminal conspiracy were found nolle prosequi and will not be prosecuted against Smith.
