DOYLESTOWN Pa December 12 A 31 year old former Navy Lieutenant from Millvale near Pittsburgh was convicted by a Doylestown jury of involuntary manslaughter and drunken driving. The jury urged extreme mercy for Robert B Kerr who formerly served at Willow Grove Naval Air Station. Kerr was arrested after his car allegedly struck and killed Kenneth H Hayter of Warrington who was helping another motorist out of a snowy drift last March 5.
