San Antonio reports Camp Travis houses the nine tieth division with a pew capita wealth of 650 and Liberty Bond subscriptions averaging 105 per man among 83,000 on the rolls. Recruits span all walks of life from Texas and Oklahoma. five are worth 500000 each, twenty can sign checks for 100000, forty two have estates over 10000, and one man is heir to a 3000000 estate. Over 400 young men begin their first jobs here, all over twenty one, yet content in the ranks.
