Professor Joseph Shortlidge founder of Maplewood Institute in Concordville Delaware county was found dead in Black dam near Concord hill. Authorities said death not due to drowning as lungs were dry and believe a stroke after a long mile walk led to his end. He had been bedridden for three weeks and escaped nurse vigilance.
