Two Die as Car and Auto Collide in Toledo
In Toledo on December 16 an auto driven by Mrs. James Graham collided with a local interurban car, killing Mrs. Graham, 26, and her daughter Dorothy Graham, 7, as they entered a driveway east of town. Motorman Howard Reed of Fremont was injured and several passengers suffered cuts from shattered glass.

Two Miners Hurt In Fall Of Rock At Ernest Mine
Two miners Joseph Gretz age 87 and Thomas Balonis age 42 were injured when rock collapsed at the Jefferson and Indiana Coal Company mine in Ernest on Thursday morning. Balonis was buried by slate and believed to have internal injuries. Gretz freed himself, dislocated hip, and made it half a mile to summon help. Both were taken to Indiana hospital in serious condition.
