Annual Extension Meet To Be Held Here Tuesday
The Indiana County Agricultural Extension Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday December 13 at First Methodist Church Indiana with sessions at 10:00 a m and 1:00 p m and a luncheon at noon. Officers will be elected and a discussion group on year’s demonstrations will be led by Mrs Edward B Henderson and Henry Wingert. Dr Donald E Hoffmaster of Indiana State Teachers College will present Mystifying Magic after the luncheon. Afternoon reports from Extension representatives will follow.

Miner Could Have Lived in Runaway Cart Tragedy
August Pavlock a 90 year old Starford miner died after leaping from a runaway mine trip at James Coal Mining Starford. The 10 car trip halted 700 feet from the scene no cars derailed Pavlock struck his head on a rail and died. Fellow workers Harry Hauck and Francis Kelly also leapt to safety with Hauck hospitalized in Indiana Hospital in satisfactory condition Kelly with minor injuries. Coroner Dr. Edward Fleming and Indiana mine inspector A J Bengston will consider an inquest.
