Court settlement ends protracted replevin dispute

Court proceedings began with a contentious replevin by members who refused to join a new order. Sheriff George T. Jeffries seized goods, returned them after a bond, and the case lingered until this term. This morning the contending parties met at the Court House and reached a settlement naming items such as a Bible, 28 linen aprons, lodge regalia and other articles.
