Buck Run Man Killed Returning From Deer Hunt
A 62 year old farmer, Harry M Wilt, died of a skull fracture after their car swerved off Indiana Clearfield road near Starford while returning from a deer hunt in Clearfield County. Passenger John Kopson, 25, was seriously hurt and John Bedner, 21, the driver, had minor injuries. The deer strapped to the car’s running board indicates a late night crash after Bedner said he fell asleep. The party’s destination was Buck Run near Clymer. The accident occurred about 11 p m Saturday. Bedner and Kopson were hospitalized with varying injuries. The report notes Kopson sustained head and facial lacerations and was listed in fair condition.
