Prisoner sent to six years in jail over pension fraud case

Indianap olis notes detail American Legion concerns as E Foster 69 of Worthhead is jailed over fraud in pension papers for veterans including Benjamin Neill of the Supply Company 112th Infantry. Street Car Splits Switch in Pittsburgh Morning Crash

Twenty five people injured, twelve seriously, when an outbound streetcar split a switch and clipped a heavy electric light pole. Windows shattered, passengers panicked, exits sought in darkness as doctors and four hospitals rushed to the scene. Pole debris and live wires posed ongoing danger.
