Funeral planned for Richard Treasure after fatal kiln accident
Richard R. Treasure, 20, of West Bolivar, was killed when a 30 foot brick kiln stack collapsed at Garfield Fire Clay Company yesterday. He was crushed while cleaning flues and died instantly. A neighbor warned him but he could not escape as bricks buried him. Treasure’s funeral is set for Thursday at 5 PM at the family home with burial in West Fairview Cemetery. He is survived by his parents George E. and Irene Eaton Treasure, plus brothers and a sister remaining at home.
