South Bend to see large new oil refinery project

Consumers Service Company plans a modern refinery beyond city limits offering gasoline and other products. The $200,000 program covers 10 acres with storage, lubrication oil production, and by products facilities. New Music Director Named at Pennsylvania State College

Richard Grant of Somerville Massachusetts was appointed director of music at Pennsylvania State College replacing C C Robinson who left to become dean at Ohio University. Grant, 8 years as school music director in Winchester and Lexington Massachusetts, will start September 13. He studied at the Peabody Institute and New England Conservatory and has toured Panama and the Pacific Coast with ensembles appearing in many eastern cities. Mrs Grant is an organist and pianist.
