City acquires large rebuilt ladder truck for fire fleet
A rebuilt city ladder truck arrived at the Pennsylvania railroad freight yards and was housed beside the existing pumper on West Campbell Street. In Blairsville, 12 year old Albert Munyon was struck by a car at West Market and Spring Streets. He suffered head contusion, ankle injuries, head lacerations, and bruises but was reported in good condition after treatment. The driver, M A Rowan of Punxsutawney, was not blamed by witnesses.

Miller Rites Held for Indiana County Native
Mr Miller aged 62 died after a period of illness and residence in the area for fifty years. He was born October 22 1850 in Indiana county to Philip and Susan Miller. Surviving are his widow Anna McDevitt Miller two sons Samuel of Kde street and Harvey of home and one granddaughter. A brother Samuel of 156 Strayer street and sister Mrs Sara Anne Ressler of Kitds melion also survive. Funeral services were held at 2 pm at the Miller residence with Rev F B Statler of the Morrellville Church of the Brethren officiating. Interment followed in Sandyvale Cemetery.
