West Palm Beach August 1 radio station WOE received a wireless from the Beacon Hill that the tanker Paulsboro was ablaze about 2592 miles northwest of Tortugas Island in the Gulf of Mexico. The Beacon Hill stood by and another ship was sent to the scene by the tanker’s operator. The crew count aboard the Paulsboro was not known. The Beacon Hill Oil Company of Baltimore owns the Beacon Hill.
