The body of William R. Spilman chief postal inspector who died in Rangeley Maine during a vacation arrived in Washington. Funeral plans are not set but services are expected at Gunton Presbyterian Temple with post office officials in attendance. The body will be buried in Manhattan New York.
Early today Mayor James Rolph Jr of San Francisco led Governor contenders in northern counties while Baron Fitts trailed Los Angeles votes. North of Tehachapi Rolph held clear advantage. southern areas showed Fitts leading in several counties.
