River tragedy claims family of four at Fredericktown
Four members of the Kolar family from Martin died when their car plunged from a ferry dock into the Monongahela river near Fredericktown. Pete Callahan, driver, survived and cited driver error. Rescue crews recovered two children and the other two bodies later as authorities investigated in Fayette and Washington counties.
