Indiana will gain an all improved outlet to Bedford and a new short route from Tohnatown to Harrisburg and Philadelphia via Traffic Route 56. The project also extends to connect with Buffalo Pittsburgh and Benjamin Franklin Highways, benefiting multiple counties. Existing Lincoln Highway resurfacing near Somerset and a Plumville to Trade City earth-road replacement are funded 100 percent by the State, with contracts awarded to D E B Kellar and Son and McHugle Brothers for about 57,979 and 401,691 respectively.
