William Gamble Allen aged 73 son of Isaac and Mary Allen died of heart disease at his home near Dixonville on Thursday afternoon August 18. A farmer by trade he lived in Indiana County for 61 years. He leaves a daughter Miss Nannie E. Allen and a brother S L Allen of Eckridge Kansas. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 pm at his residence with interment in Taylorsville cemetery.
