Joseph W. Cooley, 62, of Indiana R D 2 near Ben Franklin Road North, died after a tractor and hay baler toppled him. He sustained head injuries and asphyxiation and died at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. Survivors include his wife Marie Turist Cooley and daughter Dorothy Rezzolla. Funeral mass scheduled at St Bernard's Church, with burial in St Bernard's Cemetery.

Joseph Tessaura 64 of Sykesville Jefferson County died in Indiana Hospital Sunday from injuries suffered in a traffic crash August 14 on Route 119 four miles north of Indiana He was a passenger in a car driven by his wife Theresa which was struck by a truck on a curve near Wake Robin Farm The truck operated by John J Conners 25 of Derry skidded on the pavement and hit the Tessauro vehicle and two other cars all traveling south on Route 119 Theresa Tessauro remains in the Indiana Hospital in satisfactory condition.
