Four Injured When Truck Hit Highway Home
Four people were injured, three seriously, when a runaway truck crashed into a house on the Williamstown- East Penn Highway near Armagh yesterday afternoon. The victims were taken to Mercy Hospital Johnstown. The truck, bound for Pittsburgh, swerved to avoid a car on a steep grade, demolished a roadside stand, and crashed into the Rehn home, causing extensive damage. The driver Marais Dimpelowitz 30 of Brooklyn suffered a fractured shoulder and severe facial and chest lacerations. The truck was owned by Eagle Trucking and Rigging Co Paterson NJ. Investigators cited driver inexperience with steep grades. no mechanical failure found.
