Cherry Tree Golfers Defeat Indiana 35 to 29

Twenty three members of the Mdi H Country Club traveled to a rain yesterday to play the annual Dinner Match against Cherry Tree. Weather was adverse yet rounds were completed with Inez served to club members by Mrs Wachob. Cherry Tree won 35 to 29 and lines up two forthcoming matches: Indiana at Indiana on Buauet 28 and Cherry Tree at home on Saturday September 13.

Atlanta August 22. One of Georgia's greatest manhunts is under way as all available officers seek condemned murderers Fret D. Fair and Sam Aiken who escaped from Fulton County jail last night by sawing bars and climbing a rope of blankets to scale a 26 foot wall.

Medico Dies in Auto Crash in Pittsburgh Area

An elderly physician and a young man died from injuries in separate auto accidents. A. M. Barton, 82, of 109 East Ninth Avenue Homestead, died in Homestead after being struck Wednesday. Joseph Sirkoch, 19, of West Park, died at Mercy Hospital from injuries after a truck allegedly driven by T. A. Mabta of Crafton struck him at Fourth Avenue and Smithfield Street.
