Government Funds To States With Discrimination Charged

A report by four public interest groups says the federal government withholds revenue sharing funds from discriminatory state and local employers. It charges the Treasury Department with continuing to provide about $30 billion annually despite substantial discrimination in use of the funds. The League of Women Voters and the National Urban Coalition compiled the study.
