Local Singing Group Plans Sacred and Secular Oratorios

A new singing body inJohntown will perform only cantatas and oratorios of well known quality. Sacred works will be sung in churches and secular pieces in public auditoriums. Lancaster area markets report hay buyers flocking to Lancaster Lebanon Dauphin and Chester counties as the federal government announced it would buy feed for drought stricken cattle. Oak Tree Flower Show at Marion Center

Yesterday afternoon the 4H Flower Club at Oak Tree held their annual flower show at Community Park Marion Center. Eleven members exhibited 9% vases of annuals and perennials with 24 kinds shown.
