Automobile Club Urges Driver Cooperation with Officers

Indiana Automobile Club secretary John M. Sutton urges motorists to back traffic officers to ease congestion and improve safety. He argues many drivers fail to cooperate, causing delays and hazards as officers balance pedestrian protection with vehicular flow. Sutton recommends drivers learn traffic rules, stay patient, and yield to pedestrians at crosswalks to prevent lawsuits and speed the scene.
