Man Jailed In Kidnaping Of Teen Girl

Harry Bloomer, a 23 year old from Youngstown Ohio, is jailed in Williamsport awaiting trial on federal kidnapping and rape charges involving 17 year old Betsy Long. He was captured while dining at a farmhouse near Wellsboro after a 15 state manhunt. Police say Bloomer abducted Long from Fairmount Springs Luzerne County, then drove through the night with two assaults. Bloomer claimed they planned to marry.
