Colonel George Kemp announced rifle and pistol results with the 110th defeating the 109th by 183 targets in the 16 man rifle team event. High gun was Greensburg’s Private Lor temporary Company Greensburg. Lieut Robert C Reynolds led the 10Bth team scoring 174. Private John H Coulter also placed high.

Harrisburg August 15 An insurance commissioner urged Pennsylvania policyholders of the International Life Insurance Company of St Louis to pay premiums as due. Checks should be payable to the receivers to keep policies in force and protect holders if liabilities are reinsured. After the company’s difficulties agents were told to cease soliciting new business. The 1927 report listed 2122 policies in force in Pennsylvania.
