Indiana County announces bids will open Sept. 3 for reconstructing 3.8 miles of Route 80 between Buck Run and Purchase Line. The project will straighten dangerous curves near Starford and Stafford, widen sections, and introduce heavy macadam with bituminous surface. Detours will run Clymer to Dixonville via Route 480 and Dixonville to Purchase Line via Route 495.

Four people were injured in a two car crash on Legisla Route 32046 two miles west of Indiana last night at 10 15 according to State Police. Ralph Kuchenbrod Ak ron Ohio and Gerald Oster Indiana R D collided at the intersection injuring Kuchenbrod his wife Grace Oster and Grace Oster. The four were hospitalized with varying injuries including a possible chest injury and rib fractures. Estimated damage was 100 to Kuchenbrod and 800 to Oster.
