The girl left for Buffalo to meet James Wilson for marriage but he failed to meet her at the station and she was placed under arrest. Wilson later appeared and sought her release but police notified the girl's parents who would decide on her release. The father instructed Buffalo police to hold the daughter and he would call for her.
