Funeral of Mr Stephen Griffith
Funeral services for Water Street resident Stephen Griffith were held this afternoon with interment at Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs Bennet Dead and Griffith Funeral Rites Held
Funeral services for Stephen B. Griffith aged 76 were held at his East Water street home today at 1 30 pm with interment in Oakland cemetery. He was born November 16 1839 in Green Township and moved to Indiana in 1900 retiring there. He married Ann Catherine Griffith in 1863 and had five children. Mrs Mary B Barkley aged 86 of Johnstown died in Memorial Hospital from peritonitis. She leaves her husband and children Elda May Clyde Leroy George William Stanley and Clarence plus a son Jesse S who was killed in an accident five years ago. Also surviving are siblings Samuel Bennett Bertha Cable Rebecca Edward and Howard Bennett.
