Ladies Social Club Meeting at Waterman Hostess Framed
Frances Zelensky hosted the Ladies Social Club at her Waterman home on July 27. President Hazel Glance led the business session with games played afterward. Mrs. Patrick absent, Mrs. Kantz led business. Minutes read by Mrs. Crook. Mrs. Crook and Mrs. Conner to mail old hosiery to missionaries. September meeting will be Welcome Back reunion in Gipsy Community Building with covered dish lunch. Mary Spicher and Margaret Conner program chairmen. Officers elected in October. Elders Ridge High School’s class of 1939 celebrated its 20th reunion at the Eagles Home in Indiana on July 25. Twenty four classmates attended as Henry Ghezzi served as master of ceremonies and awards were presented for longest travel, most children, youngest child, and most hair lost. A center piece and memorial garland honored deceased member Pete Martini, with donations from James I. Shearer and dining favors for all attendees.
