Political advertisement urging voters in Indiana Pennsylvania to support Miles C Young for County Auditor in the Democratic Primary on Tuesday September 21 1915.
Ordinance No 257 authorizes a main public sewer starting Chestnut Street and proceeding north then east along alleys to Ninth Street in Indiana Borough. Enacted by Town Council on August 2 1915 with R T Marlin president and J S Taylor clerk. Chief Burgess J Shaffer approved. Evening Gazette subscriber.
Four well known county residents and a son of the late David R. Carnahan of near Crete died Saturday morning in Indiana Hospital from complications of lung and stomach trouble after a brief illness. Funeral services were at Crete church at 1 30 this afternoon, with burial at Oakland Cemetery. The Edinboro school was struck by lightning yesterday causing a 15000 loss, striking the east side of Normal Street and scattering roof fragments and shattering nearby windows.

Mother and calf are healthy, and the youngster will be shown to the public soon. This is the first pure zebra born in the United States, with governments and companies previously breeding mules. Officials note plans to cross a zebra with a Shetland pony in Central Park next year.
A vivid French assault at Vermelles describes mine explosions and a brutal hand to hand fight inside and around the chateau. German trenches collapse as French forces press upward tearing through floors and ceilings. A French officer notes brutal carnage with improvised weapons including a statue leg used as a weapon.
